continuation of my life in July... grad day 2 was baby's graduation day. to put it simply, it was hectic.. but it was filled with laughters n tears (both tears of happiness n sadness). the speech was simply the best.. he touched every single soul in the convention centre that day.. ppl just walked up to him to congratulate him and gave words of encouragment. its the first time i've seen n heard this.. im proud of him.. im proud to be able to walk thru part of this poly life with him... have uploaded pictures of graduation.. but files are so big.. i only selected afew to upload.. have 100 over pictures for the 2 days another 100 over for bkk.. i wonder when i have the time to sit down n upload all of them to imagestation. whatever it is.. go enjoy those few that i've uploaded! graduation dinner was fun as well.. free sitting so we sat together with his clique.. photo taking was enjoyable but i found out we never get to take many photos together using his camera.. not too sure why.. haha ~weird~ anyway we had to leave early, need to catch 9am plane on sun to bangkok.. or i should put it this way..the events were not entertaining enough to make us stay thru out. so went back.. packed packed packed... slept at 2am? i cant remember.. woke up at 6.40.. 4 of us shared a cab to airport.. ms wong got her cab uncle to drive us there.. many things happened even before boarding the plane.. luckily we did not miss the flight.. but it was all fun.. shopped for 3 full days.. shopped till my legs were aching.. didnt really buy ALOT of stuffs... bought just enough i supposed.. took MANY pictures there as well.. i'll try to upload them when i have the time la... hahaha... dont really feel like elaborating what happened coz its 3 whole days... anyway back in sg.. we took a maxi cab home.. all the way from airport to jeff's place which is near ntu.. for only $35 bucks.. *note we reached sg at 11+ almsot 12.. so when we got out.. it was already 12+ midnight.. initially we wanted to go 3 places.. and the uncle wanted to charge $20 extra.. but clever baby suggested jeffs place.. haha... so there.. we saved.. these uncles even wanted to 'ka' singaporean. kaoz.. too bad we are smart! slept at 2am.. and had to work the next morning... kinda sick of working actually.. though the $ is good.. but somehow its just not appealing enough to encourage me to look forward to working everyday... restrictions.. blah blah blah.. need to go see doc now... shall blog again soon...!! till then.. god bless! |

havent been blogging for a LONG LONG time... its actually just a month. but MANY stuffs happened within this one month.. havent have the time to sit down n blog every single detail till now.. 11th july was my graduation ceremony.. took half day off to attend. should say its was a good decision coz initially i was quite pissed with nothing nice to wear and at a pt of time felt like just ignoring the whole ceremony. well, there was quite abit of last minute preparation. hahaha. went shopping with the baby on thurs, fri n sun.. after much shopping, finally got a g2000 top. and i had to make do with that coz im not willing to spend on a coat. bleh. the baby on the other hand spent ~$400 on the graduation. he got everything new from top to bottom.. except for the black pants.. well, he's the star of the day n he has all it takes to flaunt so i shant bother nagging him to spend less. everything went smoothly, going up the stage, receiving the scroll, smile to the cameras, walk down. no hipcups for me in front of the audience.. took a pretty long walk before getting back to our seats.. apparently the scroll was empty! we had to go outside to collect our certs which was in a big envelope.. and i was reminded i owe library $$$.. i was like.. hmm but i didnt borrow any book from library which i returned after due date. coz i dont read books for so long.. anyway i got someone in mind coz i remembered library actually sent me a reminder email abt the 4 art books that was overdued. whatever it is.. library will have to wait till im free to go back to sch before i can return them the $. was sitted for awhile more when i finally get to see the baby on stage.. took pics of him from far n got scolded for not going to the front to take pics. i was like.. im a graduate. im supposed to be seated la.. good enough to take pics from far.. nvm, i was lucky he had a grp of friends down at vip row taking pics for him... took lotsa pics after that with my classmates n coursemates.. chatted with afew of them.. some leaving aust that thurs.. some working.. some starting sch soon.. some going ns.. some studying a totally diff course.. everyone of us has departed on a diff route.. 3 years at np has come to an end n i just pray that they will be successful for whatever they are doing n will be going into in future. of course i will want to keep in touch with my close friends that i've made in np.. without them, life in np wont be as happening as it has become. lecture kakis, project kakis, lunch kakis n my netball girls.. really blessed to have our paths crossed. lastly, if not for np, if not for netball, if not for agm.. i will not have met the baby... it was part of HIS plan that i will meet this special guy and i believe its also HIS plan for the baby to guide me to be a better person.. i really need to thank god for who i am today. though i only got to know JC better recently.. but i know.. he knew everything abt me from day 1.. anyway i finally got the chance to meet the baby after all his press interview and what nots.. but it was only for a brief while. 2 photo shots to be exact. he only managed to take time off to come down to get his lecturer, ms leng, for an interview with the reporter. whatever it is, i finally got to meet ms leng too after hearing so much of her. she's a very nice lady. i believe she is very proud of her choice as she was the one who interviewed my baby and agreed to take him in. after that was lunch... and off to work......... shall stop here.. will continue with graduation day 2, graduation dinner, bkk trip n flea market when i have more time... till then.. ciao n god bless! |
